Watcha Lloyd! Hope you are keeping well. You would probably have gone from New Street to Bournemouth via Bristol on the old Midland Railway and from there on the once Somerset and Dorset Railway lines to Bournemouth. Probably took hours as well!
We used to go to Paignton on the GWR from Wolverhampton Low level, used to take six to seven hours as every other bugger was doing the same thing. The trains used to be nose to tail for nearly the whole trip.

Great days though.
