One player not mentioned tonight was Reeves....thought he looked a completely different player having more control and responsibility....his energy, along with every single player, was fantastic!

He's a very good player at this level, probably had his worse 2 games before. Also shows Nott's biggest challenge this season is breaking down teams sitting with 4 or 5 at the back, they came at us tonight because we had 10 men and we crucified them. I guess there's an argument for letting teams have the ball more and pulling them on to you and then hitting them on the break, its a fine balance though.

Anyone heard from Davy? He must be absolutely gutted about tonight. 3 points. A good performance against the odds. Doyle stepping up as captain. The players to a man playing well. The manager for picking the right team to begin with and then not to panic when the brown smelly stuff hit the fan.
    Love it.

Torquay sneaked a late draw. Still 2 points gained without using any games in hand. The top of the League is tightening up. Torquay will feel the pressure of us, Sutton, Stockport and Hartlepool

Doesn't this also show that perhaps Doyle & Reeves for home games is overkill? Made reference to it on Saturday that maybe in home games we don't need both ( in midfield obviously!!)..

Great effort tonight Notts and let’s hope we can go on a great run on the back of this performance. Good effort from Wealdstone as well to take a point off Torquay, who are not looking as invincible as they were a few games ago. Hopefully Notts can still catch them and avoid the torture of having to go up through the play offs.

Tough one, Reeves does get forward maybe it’s just giving him the license to do it a tad more.

    Touché

Even you are more balanced than Davy. Don’t get me wrong Laddo is his opposite. I even noticed that Laddo is an ‘lol’ man and in recent days Davy is a ‘hahaha’ man. They can’t even agree on which one to use, though both mean the same.
