    Love it.
Time to gate crash the party . As i expected all Ardley fans acting like we won the league, yes the result was good, but we have achieved nothing yet

The truth is more down to Dag&R incompetence more than anything else, the key moment being after the ref handed them a golden chance, they missed the penelty, ( i then thought this could be Notts night) , if they had scored it, it would have been a different game. Ardley even admitted this post match .

None the less Notts handled the situation well, and was a very good performance

Lets see if your all blowing your horns after some away matches, starting with Wrexham ,which i think will be a much harder test

Even me??? Maybe my reputation precedes me, but the one thing I always try and do on here is be balanced. I try hard not to pre-judge and simply comment on what I see. What I saw tonight was an absolutely fantastic team performance, and by "team" I mean manager and players. I have been gushing in my praise for all concerned, and would love nothing more than to do it on a weekly basis.

Great result & performance from the 10 outfield players. Not only was Rodrigues MOM & his best performance for Notts so far I think it was the best performance by a Notts player since we have been in non league, he showed strength & stamina to go with his talent & with better finishing in the 2nd half could have had a couple of assists. Also not trying to be flippant when saying it was also Michael Doyle's best performance for Notts - for a non keeper who is 5'8 to play for 75 minutes in goal while we are down to 10 men but be so assured with his handling, kicking, leadership & time management when in possession & a few saves thrown in is truly Roy of the Rovers stuff & gutted he didn't get a richly deserved clean sheet.

The penalty miss could very well have been key. As was the awarding of the penalty and (correct IMO) sending off of Sam. Needless and reckless, without that key moment we looked on course to cruise to victory with 11 v 11.

Superb performance but as Davy says much harder games to come but you can only beat what's put in front of you and that was as comfortable and impressive.

Looks like even Davy is impressed with the team performance and manager's tactics and approach tonight.

I'm sure even durhampie briefly smiled and enjoyed that tonight. We may never know.....

So in summary you enjoyed the win, but still couldn't resist a couple of personal digs and a bit of namechecking?

    Who would have thought it?

“If your all”? Don’t you want to be blowing yer horn? Get yer don’t rate Ardley and I haven’t waxed lyrical at all about him tonight but surely you want Notts to win these games and to be happy too?

When Slocombe was sent off, if we were asked who we would put in goal, am I the only one who would have put Doyle bottom of the list?
