This thread was about our new left back, no reason for Navy to name check me at all. But he always does , the only surprise to me was the length of time since the last one.

I commented on our fantastic team display and highlighted the performance of Rodders and Wootton and stated my surprise at the managers (very positive) choice of action having gone down to 10 men on the Match Thread. Seemed the correct place to comment on the game rather than this thread. The posts and numbers suggest lots of other agreed.

It's a nothing story, you are desperately trying to make it bigger than it is and above all it's clear most people don't care a jot.

I was replying to i961pie. I know you commented on the match thread, but I was pointing out to him that you came on this one first.

It may be a nothing story, or it may show where your priorities lie. How about we let anyone who's bothered make their own mind up and leave it at that?

I just went in order, reading 3 different threads back to back , it was nothing more than that.

It's safe to say many have been vocal about how they feel about our petty arguments. It's dull, it's annoying, it ruins threads. That's the unmistakable general theme, let's both take that on board and make NCM better for it's users.

Interesting that you mention "our petty arguments". I only have petty arguments with you, whereas you have amassed quite a list, so it goes way beyond the two of us.

So do you really mean what you say? If you genuinely want to make NCM a better place for everyone you have to start by showing other posters a bit more respect. That means no more silly nicknames like DavyFacts, Ken and Ebernezer. Disagree with people by all means, but at least call them by their chosen username. That would be a step in the right direction. If I see you doing that I will do my best to follow suit. I can't see it happening, but feel free to prove me wrong.

Not sure Pedro and Durhampie get upset as you do about a nickname. They are all mild compared to the names/words used by more anger filled members of NCM.

But alas I don't see that happening I could be wrong but there has been no evidence of it. I know you purposefully ignore them but lol above for the 'perfect' example from your buddy Ayeayeskipper.

I've already ceased but since doing so have already seen two of the usual suspects resort to old ways. The language doesn't bother me, I don't know these people so it means nothing to me. But I'm thinking of all the people and age groups that view this message board. The most disappointing part to me is 90% of the time it's so needless (see above).

Maybe you can have a quiet word with a few, improve NCM. Surely that's better than turning a blind eye all the time and instead moaning about the use of nicknames.
