Not his fault - we seem to be bereft of ideas so just pass to him and put him under pressure.
We know that Struijk is miles better at CB, Klich can’t play CDM well and Ayling brings so much more at RB.
Love Bielsa but sometimes he is a stubborn old goat. His fault entirely for playing so many in the wrong position.

That Martinez looks like a good keeper
It's ok Costa Roberts will be in the second half.
This is really a disgraceful performance,
I know our back arent much chop but Midfield is another story.

Also shows how limited some of the players are and against good players get found out if not playing in primary position.
It also seems every team knows the system to play against us - press us high up the pitch and if certain players are not playing we struggle to adapt.

They are much more secure when Phillips is playing. Meslier can see Phillips right in front of him and sometimes plays out to him. I didnt think it would make that much of a difference but at least today, it has. Originally Posted by WTF11

The club should have provided funds for an alternative to KP. It’s something everyone agrees on. But they didn’t.
Struick is not good at all as KP replacement. It’s a good job it’s not Casilla in goal today !
Also we have 4 of our best players injured.
