Well, we’re half way to my prediction

Agree with best players injured but why play players where it doesn’t seem to work

All this fannying about at the back! Meslier bad enough today, but putting under way too much needless pressure anyway! might as well get the kids on for some experience now.

Not his fault - we seem to be bereft of ideas so just pass to him and put him under pressure.

We know that Struijk is miles better at CB, Klich can’t play CDM well and Ayling brings so much more at RB.

Love Bielsa but sometimes he is a stubborn old goat. His fault entirely for playing so many in the wrong position.
It was his fault, he rolled the ball out initially, when he could have kicked long, then when he couldn't pick up as it was passed back, he has to kick long and inaccurate His fault then, Bielsas for apparently mandating that the keeper can't kick out, either from goal kicks, gathering from an attack or whatever, he NEVER kick long.

Why does our GK, keep playing high lofted balls out to the wing backs, who have little chance of winning anything in the air?
    Pressure back on straight away

A real mess that started with the team selection. There was no way Struick could do Phillips role, Ayling and Cooper with Alioski and Shacks at the back. No protection for Meslier at all.
No pressing in our game. This passing back to our keeper who has proven he cannot deal with the pressure is beyond me. He can’t play out from the back and nor can Cooper or Alioski. No one can say they didn’t see this coming. Our playing out from the back with a young keeper devoid of any confidence whatsoever is suicidal.

Partly but I think that goal was also due to the 15 to 20 times the players just pass it to him and then don’t provide him with an option so he hoofs and loses it - he was keeping the ball as there were no options.

Cooper on at least 5 occasions has needlessly shipped it back to Meslier when Cooper wasn’t under pressure. Lazy, negative and boring.

    Here we go again ........

It's been obvious all season that Meslier and his crap distribution and fannying around will catch us out. It's not just getting tackled he also passes it to their players quite frequently. Alioski once again proves he cannot defend and Cooper only has one speed (slow) and one tactic (pass back to the keeper). We are being completely overrun in midfield. I'm all for a fluid formation but I don't think Shackleton even knows where he is supposed to be playing. Our only hope is to give the ball to Raphinha but we don't seem able to even do that. Whatever happens and no matter how bad it gets PLEASE GOD do not bring on Costa or Roberts.
