I really dont think people up here are being forced into this, and i think the uptake figures mirror the desire of the majority to get back to some sort of normality. I think its stunning that people are coming forward to exceed the estimates.

I think the slagging you are on about is based on Nic saying everyone over 70(cohort 4) has been offered their vaccination, which i think may also now extend to everyone in Cohort 5. She has always been at pains to say that daily figures and targets are based on people having been vaccinated, and all you are seeing is the consequences of the poor standard of journalism we are subjected to.

As to the accusations towards England, this is something i have been trying to clarify myself as i believe Boris is basing Engands "better" performance on the number of notifications delivered, rather than what should be the real measure that is jabs in arms! That however is a mute point as we are all doing very well with vaccine delivery, i just wish England would admit how good the are doing and share the data.
