With how we play I disagree. We play with the ball on the deck much to the annoyance of some on here. I would sooner have the movement and industry that Knowles gives.

I agree. I would say Sam’s worst asset is his ability to win headers. Would have preferred to see knowles making those runs giving Rodriguez and whooton more space

It's unlucky for Knowles and I can understand starting with Sam and rotating these two. If it's not working I hope Knowles can come on with sufficient time say last half hour to make a meaningful impact.

Piling needs to be careful as it's a calamity waiting to happen with some of his footwork control. Whilst Notts had a bright five minutes, it's been mainly Cheaterfield that have been pressing us and have had the best spell so far.
