I can agree with some of those names but you did say on the 'what do you want to see thread' that you wanted Sam to start. Now you want him out the club? That was quick lol.

Doyle/Reeves is pretty much identical to Doyle/JOB, neither has worked.

The problem therefore, as many have suggested before, must be not only Doyle starting but the whole system and approach revolved around him. All Ardley's eggs in a Doyle basket and it's not working.

A few posts to respond to.

Completely agree it should be about Notts. And I have no issue with those who feel replacing Ardley is for the better of club, currently I’m not sure anyone could disagree.

Rightly or wrongly, I get the impression that there are some who take great delight in the demise of NA. I find this very Sad. On a personal note for NA and ultimately, it means Notts have failed.

Richardson had a baptism of fire last night - lucky not to give away a penalty, was run ragged by their wing back and failed to deliver a single decent ball into the box. Anyone else think it was odd that DKE, our most consistent full back, was rested when the team had just had a week off anyway?

I keep on thinking about Barnett's first touch of the game, and how that set the tone for the entire night, but also Ruben Rodrigues is proving that his Dagenham performance was the exception in recent months. Very frustrating to see him give the ball away so cheaply, be brushed aside so easily and not be more involved linking up the play with the forwards.

Jimmy Knowles also had a dreadful game last night, couldn't do the basics and I lost count of the number of times he knocked the ball out of play. As for Sam's pathetic penalty - next time he should try a backheel flick, might get more power on it.

As for "rejoicing," I have yet to see one fan who doesn't want Ardley to do well. There are some who have given up on him, for sure, but no Notts fan is actively rooting for the manager to fail. Because that means we fail as a club and I'm not sure how much failure we can all handle.

Therefore, one more olive branch for the greater good of the board#mission

Elite, if you wish to carry on all Non-Notts stuff and want to carry arguing about nothing like we have been let's do it in private.

Astonishing I only discovered that NCM had the private message feature recently when SwalePie dropped me a message. This way we can carry it on if you so wish and nobody else will have to suffer. What's not to like about that suggestion?

    Another simple solution offered up.

Keeping all fingers crossed this offer won't be rejected.

Correct. Nobody wants him to fail, but some want him to go because they think he has failed.

Ive let be known that i dont rate Sam. But i thought because he scored a couple of good goals in his previous outing his confidence may be high, so give him a game. But he was crap... Get rid..

Has anyone seen Ardley clearing out his office?

Why wouldn’t the owners sack him now?

    1) Don’t want to pay him off?
    2) They still believe we have a good chance of promotion?
    3) They’re not confident in hiring who they want at the minute?

For me last night should be his last game in charge, in fact I’ll be rather shocked and disappointed if it isn’t.

Great, we don't need to bother the message board with any more fluff. We can argue over Notts instead

I'd suggest posting private messages on here would not only be not welcomed by many , defeat the whole objective of the solution but also be bad form.

Right time to see this message.

Huge step and I speak on behalf of many, thank you.
