New look Champions League....doesn't look promising.

So UEFA have finally decided that the elite of Europe in a new 36 team format will be the way forward. This is to start in 2024. Personally I think UEFA has too much of a stranglehold on English football. It's time we broke away.

Some Chairmen have disclosed this could be the end of the League Cup. This is the largest contributor to the EFL. That's how bad it can infiltrate the English Leagues.

    The new format:

Bigger cash rewards for clubs with greater coefficient records and history.......in other words, money clubs. This could even mean clubs who don't qualify for the C/L that they may qualify because, they are a large money club. Ask yourself who's been knocked out of the C/L this week ?

If the 'big clubs' of our English Leagues want to break away then let them. They will miss out on the average working fan following them all over Europe. I truly hope this breaks them and they become the parihas of the football fraternity.

I truly wish the football world would implode and all the money grabbing clubs and players would realise just how much of a money grabbing creation they have created. They have in my eyes destroyed football for the good it was created for.

It only takes more Chairmen to say no to the ludicrous prices 'agents' crave for and demand, just say no and the football world will be a better place.

Exactly and it will be the ruin of football as we know it.

I for one will not be watching any of the future games after 2013.

You turning the Brin 'dodgy' clock back and wiping out our Wembley triumphs then?

Just think, hindsight is a wonderful thing but if we'd have gone with the Earth Mortgage/Gazza dream team we could have been in the elite 32 of Europe!

A precursor to a league above the Premiership

The mega clubs will join it and we can go back to leagues 1 to 4 again, which would be great

I'm so glad that I'm a Miller and follow a real football club. I hardly watch any Premier League matches these days and even less Champions League. I can't be doing with all the cheating, posing, posturing, man bun wearing, don't touch me, don't you know who I am, show offs. Give me a match from the football league or non league every time.

Yeah, but they are a god fearing pious lot.

Judging by the crossing themselves, looking up and pointing to heaven they do.

Used to get plenty of exercise being chased round the ground by Millwall & Wolves fans to name just two. Happy days.
