I would agree with this. We've been better than Tuesday, had more possession, played the ball more in the Wealdstone half and limited them to nothing, and had a couple of half chances. Still lacking any real creative threat and quality in the final third. We've got a long throw into the box now, but need to get people on the end of this stuff.

Charlie Slater saying just now that, after looking through the fixture list earlier, he reckons he's seen Notts play well this season only six times.

Listening to radio commentary only - it sounds dire

Influence of the 'players meeting' is afoot.
The players we need who can make and score goals are out - difficult to get yourself heard maybe when you're not a native English speaker...
    And in come 'the characters...'
Maybe they suggested the awful switch to 5-3-2. Why the hell do we need three centre-backs to play at Wealdstone? Who at the club thinks for one moment that we have 'wing-backs'?

We may end up winning this 0-1 as I predicted, but it seems to me that Ardley is moving further and further away from getting this right.

I can assure you, it's far more 'dire' watching it. I paid £9.99 for this tripe.

Ha ha, I feel for you.
Any goal and 3pts will make it worth it...but If I was offered the 2nd half for 1.99, I'd save it for a bottle of milk

I don’t think it’s been that bad, we’re playing further up the pitch and more direct. Also showing more fight and desire to win first and 2nd balls and if Effiong had more composure should have scored a simple header from a great cross by O’Brien.

On the whole it’s much better, Enzio, O’Brien and Miller probably our best players and we look much more coherent than previously. It just needs a goal and the confidence will return.

Sounds pretty accurate, maybe a little generous.

Although this is an improvement from Tuesday, that sets the bar very low so no credit for that. We're still lacking the determination and grit to be first to the ball and once again are completely lacking any cutting edge.

Men in the box and we mess about playing it backwards, no wonder we don't score.
