Very unlikely. Also the latest polls, show 75% of French support the EU although Le Pen, in the French news this morning, is saying she has no fear of immigration and that those who have are xenophobes. Unless the Left sort themselves ut, which is very unlikely, it will be "Macron encore"

can't stand lying politicians and their toadies in the press. Biden had nothing to do with the record pace of vaccine development yet he takes full credit. They were at a million vaccinations a day before he even stepped foot in office.

trump was a dick but he did allow the pharma's free reign to get this done and he used the power of the government to get the production up to speed and loosened up the logistics so it could be distributed in record time.

I am a 60 year old serf suitable for nothing but paying taxes yet I was vaccinated this weekend (whether that's good or bad is a different subject). I know deep down that if the current regime had been in charge I would not be looking at getting a vaccine for another 6 months to a year and the odds are it would be some chinese or russian vaccine. Just the reality of the world.

Watching the England v India T20, there are 66 THOUSAND fans in the ground, no masks, no social distancing to speak of, and India has a fair number of COVID infections and had a fair number of deaths.

Who knows WTF - open air and heat help but there does appear to be a lot of differences around the world.

Can’t wait for this virus to be done but fear the cost of it will be felt for a while yet.

How does that work?

And today, for the third T20, they are playing behind closed doors (2 days after the match where there were 60k fans, which was itself 2 days after the 1st match, where there were nearly 70k fans). How is ANYONE supposed to understand, never mind adhere, to conditions that appear to be made up on the hoof?
