    Matlock Town 4 Scarborough 0

1974-5 season Matlock beat Scarborough in front of 21k at Wembley.

Apparently 7 of the Matlock players were Rotherham lads including the only time 3 brothers have played on the same team at Wembley.
Tom, Nick and Mick Fenoughty who's dad played for Rotherham and Tom's son is chief scout at Sheffield United.

Not on here you didn't Brin. Closest thing I could find to stories on here about Scarborough was one about some tosser who was on holiday in Whitby

Then where have I already read about this? Recall reading that several men from Rotherham were involved it’s so crystal clear...... err err err... I’ll come back later once I’ve found it.

Cheers for that, yes indeed there was and that's where I read about it. Thought I was having a groundhog day.

Surprised you'd forgotten spending that 20p. I'm sure your Mrs. hasn't if she's like mine

Believe it or not, it now costs £1.10 and there's hardly anything in it.
