Why such a surprise? Just because we are probably top of the league in goals scored from set pieces it doesn't automatically mean we are any good at defending them. We are 22nd for a reason and have played about half our games with a flapper in goal.

    We’re 22nd because we’re about 4 games in hand

Well I don't think it would be unreasonable to expect that a team that does well heading the ball in one box would, with the same players, be quite good at getting their head on the ball in the other box also. Teams that concede a lot from set pieces you wouldn't expect to be at the top at scoring them....

But if we add our average points per game to those games in hand we would still be 22nd

Assuming they do include penalties then that's almost 50% of ours (6/14). I believe they were all with JB in goal, in fact I think he's still diving for some of them

Definitely be interesting to know if penalties contribute. Poor old Jamal, the only keeper they don't bother using the slow mo replay for

It seems Bristol City are struggling at left back, with both players in this position are injured, hope our coaching staff have taken note of this, like other clubs took note, of our similar situation.

Bristol City have signed right back Danny Simpson on a short term contract, the former Huddersfield player has been on trial at Sheffield Wednesday, having played in a under 23's game for them, but it seems the Owls manager was not keen in signing him.
So Bristol City stepped in, Simpson can not play until after the International break.
