We're safe from automatic relegation. The teams around us playing each other means it's now impossible for us to go straight down.

Ffs just had a look at the table there and noticed that St John's Town pipped GUNBOAT's team to top 6 by 2 goals......mental.

We are safe. +10, +11 +12 ahead of the bottom 3 and these 3 teams all playing each other it is almost impossible for 2 of these teams to accumulate a points total that would catch us. In the end we missed top 6 by 1 point. A solid first season back.

Disappointing season for St Mirren, had that poor start that cost them, beat Sheep and Rangers in cup, then had misfortune to play Livi in semi while they were in that run of form. Beat Celtic too in league. Biggest beneficiaries St John on both accounts. Similar goal Hamilton scored today from set piece as they did against us early in season.

Has there ever been a poorer/uninspiring top 4? Outside of Rangers, Celtic been an absolute catastrophe, Hibs bottled two semis and playing an unexciting brand of football, Aberdeen breaking all sorts of records for not scoring.

42 points is mathematical safety. And that would only be needed if Ross County and Killie win all 4 games other than the game the play each other (which both cant take 3 points). Highly unlikely. In a worst case scenario we need 3 points.
