Had a quick look just as Leeds scored their 4th. That was enough to be honest.

Leeds class above us in every department in the Premier League and now they thrash our U23’s 5-0.

Our whole club needs turning upside down! Shocking how Leeds have stepped up to the plate and deservedly so and we have been shambolic!

2 harsh penalty's, player sent off,our goalkeeper had to subbed with a head injury, their 5th goal was from a freekick which was well over 15yards. Windsor paced it out from the wall , the ref booked and allowed them to take.
Leeds were the better side and are top of the table, Albion fielded a young side.
A lot of our better players are on loan, Morton scored again for Lincoln against Sunderland last night.
Is it better for our players to be playing league football, or doing well in the 23s ?

Disagree Soulman - and which ever way you dress it up - we were hammered 5-0! Somebody no doubt will be foolish enough to say our first team have been unlucky and don’t deserve to be in the bottom three - most of the time we have been shocking and the two wins out of three we were incredibly lucky!!

All decent clubs will have great foundations whether it’s at first team level - under 23’s - under 18’s or the academy. Most of our best academy staff left because they could not stand Dowling and we have gone backwards! I hear Leeds were missing a few of their talented youngsters last night too so saying some of our players are out on loan is a feeble excuse. Any decent 23’s are knocking on the door of the first team and maybe next year Morton might get an opportunity when we are in the championship!

The young decent players we have are usually overlooked like Sam Field who now wants to stay at QPR - do you blame him? I would still rather have Field than Sawyers or Livermore so here lies our problem - managers who stay loyal to dead wood as opposed to giving youngsters a run! Whatever happened to Edwards - is he still alive?

Have we got our money back from Barcelona yet? I doubt it and the talented player in question will now be developed at Vile by those who were at West Brom! You can’t make it up!

PS - Bielsa was actually watching the match last night in person and this sums up the comments above perfectly. Bielsa has made Leeds a class team with quality players and they actually deserve to be higher in the league than where they are. That’s not luck but a quality manager - quality investments and NO championship players like we have. I bet Leeds would only be interested in two of our players ( not even our players ) - OKay and Gallagher! That sadly tells a story of how far they have come and how far we have gone backwards!
