Brian's got a point here, its a covid thread, yes there are many political elements involved with it which will result in discussions relevant to different Governments but we're not turning this into an English hating independence thread.

Politics was always be, and still is a banned subject on the Exec Lounge forum, we have exceptions on the covid thread, (first time ever) but the posts last night were way off topic of covid. .

If you want to post your tory hating stuff post it on the Off topic sub forum Posts will be removed if not relevant to covid, I think that's fair.

I'm as guilty as anyone for winding up you face painted, kilt wearing, braveheart watching, flag waving bunch on here so no more from me either.

I won't post any more on this thread but your comment that independence supporters are 'anti-English' is a disgrace. Like most Scots, I have more friends and/or family in England than most other places, I don't hate them, I just don't want their privileged elite running our country.

I appears that at least the Western Isles are pushing ahead with the vaccination programme and anyone there over the age of 40 can now book an appointment. I think this is a good move as it gets a logistically difficult area completed, and will allow the islands to at least try and get their economies on the way to recovery.

In turn and once other Isles are dealt with, this will ensure that full focus will be on the vaccination effort on the mainland.
