Well it's someone who's keeping quiet. My bet is it's a foreigner, one who's been waiting in the wings till the bros thought enough is enough. If he is, I hope he's not been following Notts Mad and our pillorying of every manager since Cotterill.

Personally, my choice would be Kenny Jackett, articulate, knows what's happening, and no bullsh!tting the fans or press.

UPDATE! His contract with Portsmouth was terminated this month.

    Nobody taking temporary charge then?

"Joe Bloggs will be in charge of the first team until further notice" is usually how they sign-off on the official announcement of a sacking.

The fact they aren't accepting applications and haven't announced a caretaker says someone is already in place.

I'm going to suggest a different set up, I think we will go continental with a DoF and a head coach. Possibly Doyle and O'Brien as the coaches with a DoF who I can't think of but perhaps the chap from football radar who is already a director and does the signings already?

Well they are a big club and expect promotion he might have done that still but their owners saw Cowley was available and deemed him better.

He does have a very good record though at all of his clubs.

We arent getting a manager who has been sacked with fans of those clubs praising them
