    Do you blame them?

How many doses have been exported from EU to UK, and how many from UK to EU?

If the situation was reversed, we'd be doing exactly the same as what they are.

Get ready for some ugly headlines from your favourite newpapers.

By the way, before anyone says it - this has nothing to do with Brexit.

So it’s the staff and not me 😏
And you voted for that pain in the ar5e.

Its boring when Leavers blame others, take some responsibility.

I think there’s a new term given to those complaining about the about the EU post brexit:

    B-moaners.

I would have some sympathy with the EU position if it was ONLY the fact they were much later than UK in placing vaccine orders. However we have had several weeks of various EU Governments claiming the AstraZeneca vaccine wasn’t safe and postponed deployment. Even today I hear Denmark is delaying rolling out the AZ vaccine for another three weeks. Yet we still get this bleating from the EU saying the problem is AZ’s fault for not delivering vaccines. Surely the obvious question is what happened to the AZ vaccines which were delivered and not rolled out ..... which must be sitting somewhere or have had to be thrown away because the due date has lapsed.

I was a Remain voter ..... but this whole episode has shown how shambolic the EU is ..... and then they have the gall to blame others to cover up their own faults ..... For once the Uk seems to have got it right.

I've been moaning about the EU for the past 40 years long before you even noticed what the EU even was. Its a controlling unmovable body. Bad news for any connected to them.

Totally agree with all the above Barrera. Not only have they been saying it’s unsafe but they’ve struggled with vaccine take up.. for both AZ and Pfizer as people have not been coming forward for them. They’re in a mess and have shot themselves. It’s a part of the EU i never thought i’d see. That said I never really did have an opinion on them either way and this current situation doesn’t help.

But it is indicative of EU and some member States inefficiency and attitude towards Brexit. Care to argue that if the EU had the same number of vaccines as the UK the majority would be sat in fridges?

The EU Commission and certain national leaders should hang their heads in shame at the way they have mishandled the vaccine rollout. Care to argue with that statement?

Let's forget about Brexit and the EU getting back at us. The bottom line is that they have been completely inefficient in their handling of the vaccination programme and are trying 'every which way but loose' to deflect the blame from themselves in whatever direction they can. What they need to do is to accept responsibility and to try and sort it out in the fairest way possible to all concerned. However, if their track record is anything to go by, it won't happen.

I think this is just an indemic problem with the Eu.

For a quarter of a century I’ve had to deal with top level management in Eu companies and almost to a man they have been utterly useless.

Nobody can make a decision and they love to have a meeting about having a meeting........they revel in status and prolonged procedure.

The best businessmen I’ve dealt with have been British, Irish on both sides of the border and with one guy in Holland and one in Belgium.

The rest have been abysmal even when being Sales Director level.

Totally agree Mick! German management shuffle paper and useless and the Americans are just as bad - if they answer an email that same day it's like a lottery win! Italian management are great at telling lies - when they say the container has been shipped - that means it's still sitting in the f uckin factory! Don't get me started on the Chinese - sign every copyright contract under the sun but your gorgeous products are in every Chinese trade fair going - they will also put safety testing standards on everything and has it been tested? Yeah tested by their slave labour that disappears when you visit! I find the best and most efficient are the Dutch.
