    From the website:
(So an existing season ticket holder, in GF lower or ET lower has to wait until 2nd June, if taking their credit, renew at a cost of £460 and risk losing their seat (the latter being the unfair bit imo))

    2020/2021 Credits

If you wish to claim a credit for the 20/21 season then please contact the ticket office to obtain a voucher code that you will then input online during the renewal process, and this will apply the credit to the amount payable.

The voucher code will only be valid for use from Wednesday 2nd June 2021, but you should apply for it in advance. During the renewal process input this code and this will apply the credit to the amount payable.

Totally agree that is wrong mate they should be allowed to renew in the early bird and keep their seats guessing there will be reasons people are taking the money back and is utd's fault for offering it not theirs.Think utd have noticed they have f...ed up and are trying to force peoples hands not to take up their offer which is wrong they made the offer should then honour it.Think they have no faith in the fans turning down their silly offer to help the club and are panicking incase everyone takes the offer and we are sunk.

That's the nail on the head. Yes, there would have been some who took up the credits and they would have every right to do so as they didn't decide on the offer and they may well be in a position where they have to. Money has been tight for everyone and with all due respect to United, much as we all love them, family comes first every single day of the week. Calling the early bird the 'loyalty period' is a tad insulting. You don't know what someone's personal circumstances are so if they are in a position to need to take the credits, that does not make them less 'loyal' and at risk of losing their regular seat.

The bottom line is that the vast, vast majority would have waived this. The Club should have trusted us on that, as after all following strong ST sales despite some right utter cack the previous few years, we were hardly going to stop now things are getting better again finally.................

Yeah you are bang on right james it's our club and people who bought seasons last season not knowing what was going to happen to help the club would be backing the club again this season if they could afford it only people who will be taking the money back will be people who can't afford it for one reason or another and should not be thought of as any less loyal.Should not have their seats taken away either and should be allowed to buy in early bird as well. Can see the reason they are doing the loyalty bit to thank the support who are turning down the money back.
