Normally a bbq thing but it’s not bbq weather at the moment so hence the question to scum.

Couple of beers in the hot tub, lucky 15 at donny. Waste £30. Burn some rubbish, cook a beer can chicken with lime and chilli marinate and watch the boxing later and probably lose some more money.

I do it on a kettle bbq over indirect heat with the lid on. Baste every 25 mins. And keep an electric probe in the thigh.

I find smoking food a bit of a fad and this way is much easier and more effective.

I made the marinade with lime marmalade. Rum, chillis and cayenne pepper.
