    IDF (non footy)

BT: Maybe this is interesting for you . We do not just bomb the 'hook' out of Gaza.

    https://www.jpost.com/arab-israeli-c...in-gaza-663170

With the International Criminal Court in The Hague now investigating Israel’s 2014 war in Gaza, Israel will once again have to defend its tactics and explain what precautions it takes to minimize civilian casualties, an effort in which roof knocking plays a critical role.

Bomber Harris used the same sort of justification when he firebombed Dresden.

First rule - read the article, if not we ??? Do you see how quiet they are ? Where are the crowds near the fence, no demonstrating ? Or maybe no burning desire.

Bomber Harris, not really the British did not have personal info in those days, no cell phones to call, no internet, then ''we are coming!'' Read it !! Mein Freund.

"Bomber" by Len Deighton is a good fictionalised account of a bombing raid that went wrong and the resultant civilian deaths.

It reads like a propaganda piece from the IDF Ministry of Nonsense Balan. Israel being tried for war crimes. Whatever next?

It was hardly a "first strike" philosophy when the RAF was bombing Dresden in 1945. You lefties so love to re-write history. Never mind London and the other British cities, have you never heard of Guernica ?

Indeed I have heard of Guernica sinkov, two of my uncles from Accrington went to Spain to fight the fascists. The IDF bombed and killed around 1400 Palestinians in the 2008-9 Gaza War in one day and nothing much is said. The Luftwaffe killed between 200 and 250 people when they blitzed the Basque town and many hundreds more were wounded (my two uncles both escaped unscathed) and the world went mad. Historians always seems to me to pick and choose which side its on. Gaza is old news, but I think Biden might be resurrecting the issue soon.

BT I like the part were you say (Concerning the war in Gaza 2008).

''The IDF bombed and killed around 1400 Palestinians in the 2008-9 Gaza War in one day and nothing much is said!

''During Operation Cast Lead (27 Dec 2008 - 18 Jan 2009), 571 rockets and 205 mortar shells landed in Israeli territory. Magen David Adom personnel treated and evacuated a total of 770 casualties: 4 fatalities, 4 severely wounded, 11 moderately and 167 lightly wounded. An additional 584 persons suffered from shock and anxiety syndrome.

If the IDF killed 1400 Palestinians ,( in one day and nothing much is said!) and that war lasted about 20 days, In total 1,391 Palestinians were killed. For the rest of the attack what did the IDF do fire into the sky?

    B'Tselem said ,
Around 1,391 Palestinians were killed, including an estimated 759 civilians.

The Palestinian Centre for Human Rights said
1,417 Palestinians died, 926 of whom were civilians.

So BT. stop telling porkies ( In about 20 days 1400 were killed ), not in one day!!

Nothing is said BT because B'Tselem and P C H R. are quarreling to this day on how many were killed!!

BT , where do you find your news, in Billy's weekly liar?

Billy's Weekly Liar doesn't exist in the UK any more Balan, it's had a name change, it's called The Guardian now.
