Reeves is an interesting one - I think he’s basically been hopeless and his partnership with Doyle was driving me mad. I can also see that he has the ability and qualities to be a very good player in a team that’s playing this style of football and functioning properly around him.

Agreed. When he first arrived and had played a few games I thought he had been a shrewd signing. I'm sure the ability is still in there if used correctly.

I'd like to see if he can improve all three with an extended run in that quarter-back position and linking up with Brindley/Rawlinson/Lacey/McCrory/Rodrigues/New guy etc.

The patient passing game attempted with DKE, Ellis, Turner, JOB and Miller was probably doomed from the start.
I actually felt sorry for the Centre-Backs trying to do their Barca thing. Turner looked like a bouncer put in charge of a beauty parlour
    FFS!!!! quarterback position????

Yes, he'll continue in that role just in front of the back four.

There is literally nobody else to play there at the moment.

    ''Centre half'' is a defender.
You might not watch many games, but Reeves plays central midfield

In the Aldershot game (also against Dagenham) he was playing as the sole defensive midfielder sat in front of the back four. He was picking up the ball from the defence all game long and (trying to) distribute it, so I'll stick with the description, most people get the idea.

So he’s a defensive midfielder then? Not a quarterback?
