MillersMad Matchthread - Miwwaww v The Millers

Anyone remember the game at home against these. No, not when they were trying to attack the family stand I'm talking about earlier in the season when a miskisk cost us the game. The game wasn't good and had 0 - 0 written all over it but that slip up cost us.

A lot has happenened since then! Acoording to some clubs and supporters we shoud have had points deducted and been fined for the Covid out breaks within the camp. We should have installed underfloor heating when the stadium was built to allow the only fixtures in almost a decade to be called off because of a frozen and or waterlogged pitch. This was because the already saturated pitch had frozen not allowing the superb drainage to do it's job. A Sheffield Wednesday fan then slagged us off on social media for us having to call a match off because of the weather again. This left him vimpto headed when the match at Hillsborough was called off for the same reason.

I read this week that Bowyer has been more respectful of us than their previous manager. He's expecting us to pick up points and it's up to them to do their part! There have been commentators saying that we would have been comfortable lower mid table this season. Is this to soften us up or are they now starting to take us a bit more serious?

We've not done that bad this season at all. Could we have done better? Of course but were we likely to have? Probably not. We talk of budgets and how it effects squads. We'll never have a budget to realistically compete in this league until we're in it for a good length of time so what's the point in worrying about it? The players and managers are giving their all.

In a shîtstorm of a season we're still in with a decent shout of staying up! It's a pity we're not there to witness it in person because I think we'd have won more home games if we had.

I am delighted for you all by the way and wish you all the best for your up and coming freedoms! The chance you will soon have for meeting up with friends again. Jealous? Me? You bet your bloody life I am! Vie va les confinements!

Thankfully next season isn't too far away and i early August we'll be able to go into the New York Stadium and take our seats! And if we stay up, and I think that we will football in the Championship will be halted in mid November for the World cup

    Enjoy the match everyone!

A really tough game this one. I hope the defensive lapses don't return after our lay off

As for getting to see our team at NYS in august, I think that's very optimistic. There are still too many "don't give a ****" groups in the area for the covid numbers to drop enough.

Great post Frog looking on the bright side Blackman not no 1 anymore (touches wood) so won’t be going walkabout which caused our 1 0 defeat to these
I honestly think we’ve got a great chance of stopping up simply because the team especially the defence trust Viktor more and in my opinion it’s scary he’s only 22 as to how good he can become at the other end we are more than capable of scoring at least one goal Dead easy this football lark NOT!
