It's not me that's squabbling sir, it's all them others. Anyway, it's my bat and I'm not playing anymore, I'm going home, so there.

However we do not have a 'quarterback' at Meadow Lane. We've had them before but not now, they orchestrate the offense nobody seems to do that at Notts currently.
Try discussing all things FOOTBALL instead.

Oh well. Let's hope Notts win the toss and get to serve first.

Here we go again, "offence"???? Do you mean attack, by any chance?

I'm just hoping the ref doesn't award Wrecsam an early peekay. Or should that be Piquet?

Yes, quicker between the wickets and fielding closer when it's our turn to scrum.

Didnt we have one of them, but we gave him away .!?....

You're bang on the mark, but ball-playing centre-halves are a big ask at this level...
Aldershot had everything covered and just let Ellis and Turner have it (made us miss the high press ,even!) Very smart.
Even if it was Rawlinson and Lacey, it would've been much the same.
Years gone by a defender would have charged into the space, committing their markers and freeing up players further forward - now it's all risk-free football-by-numbers. All that passing among themselves was just about the most tedious, frustrating, pointless football I've ever seen...
Waiting for IB to train them in patterns of play just depresses me further - 0-1 down for 87mins, players' instincts should be all that was needed to change the pattern of the game to move the play near the opposition's goal.
