Exactly the type of punt we should take.

Wonder what will happen to Hendry. I'd take him if he's available.

The goal machine that couldn’t get a game for St.Johnstone and can only make the bench with us?

I’m not against it but we’re maybe we asking a lot of the new coaching team.

Ach sod it, we should be asking a lot.
They’ve got 6 months to turn him into a £3,000,000 player.

That’s the great thing with forwards, a few goals and you can cash in.
    Imagine getting money for Cosgrove.

Oor Sam is not exactly setting the heather alight at the foot of the Championship. Been available for 14 games for Birmingham, played a total of 88 minutes without starting a game and needless to say yet to score a goal. Looking a crazy good deal for us

I watched him in a couple of St. Johnstone games and didn’t think he was up to much. But he had a couple of bits of hold up on Saturday, as well as the shift and finish for the goal, that suggests he’s probably worth at least getting a run between now and the end of the season. I suppose it depends what alternatives Glass, Brown and Russell have in mind for next season but maybe Russell can make something out of Hendry.

Haven’t seen enough of him yet but I wouldn’t be against taking him if the new coaching team see something in him.

I'd be amazed if we signed Gauld, even if he was out of contract. By all accounts he's been doing really well in the past season or so and likely wanted by other, more attractive clubs than ourselves. If we could get him, it would be great though - he's the type of player we need. Hopefully Hedges will stay and we can bring in someone else on his wavelength (similar to what Wright was).

No thanks to Hendry though - if we're looking to challenge for trophies he's nowhere near the level we need to be looking at. Having said that he's probably contributed more than Kamberi (who I don't think is suited to playing as a lone striker to be fair to him) and Hornby (what's happened to him anyway?!) I hope Anderson gets a new contract and is given the chance to show what he can do in a different set up, and I'm still hoping Griffiths joins, alongside some up and coming English superstar that we've never heard of!

Aye checked just now and when he does play he is normally brought on with 5 or 6 minutes left to go, last night he played for less than a minute
Best contribution he made to the dons ever was when we left, getting the cash we did get for him was a brilliant bit of business by the club and although I hate to admit it also by McHunnis so I guess thanks for that.

I would take a punt on the lad Hendry but he needs a proven goal scorer alongside him so for that we could have Griffiths if the rumours are true. Them two up front could be something worth considering.
But hey ho who am I or who are we to suggest anything.
I am sure Glass, Brown and Russell already have their plan and their target signings, and like has been said many times this summer transfer window is going to be very interesting.

Starting to feel like a good time to be a dandy right now.
Looking forward to the future with a good level of optimism and confidence.

I don't think we'd be signing Hendry to be our main striker. What I've saw of him I thought he has looked pretty promising. Whilst mcinnes would use a striker like that as our first choice week in and week out, I'd like to think he'd be a decent option to bring on depending on how the game is going.

I heard Aberdeen are about to fight it out with the saintiees for the signature of pee paw. Saintees desperate to get him in a pre contract ASAP but the lure of a return back to pittodrie could be too much.

The good thing about us that we have absolutely no debt and will be spending to strengthen as we aim to win the league. You lot will need to sell to stay above water. Get the arm bands and floats out.
