He was sacked for relegating his team.
    That's his legacy.

Some serious toys being thrown after just 3 weeks! We all know this squad is flawed. Before he came in we could barely get a shot on target. I think some have forgotten just how bleak it was under Ardley. I have seen signs of improvement and Burchnall hasn't said anything I've disagreed with yet.

Maybe some of you don't like his delivery? Or that he has staring eyes? It's just weird. People need to calm down and get behind the club and the owners.
He has taken some incredible stick really.

A few jibes thrown his way are never played the game and classroom manager.

Plenty of players from the top leagues have managed and done nothing but they keep getting good jobs im looking at the likes of Steve Bruce here.

He might turn out to be a failure who knows ?

The argument was so often put that 'anyone ought to be able to get this squad promoted'. Suddenly the same squad is requiring a major rebuild and we've seen that someone else probably won't get us promoted, although I do think we will make it into the play-offs.

Who are the teams who were generating interest in IB?

But Ardley has gone and as you say, we have to get behind the club and the owners.
    I'm over reacting?! Weird.

I think the people calling for the owners to go and saying Burchnall is useless after 3 weeks with somebody else's squad are over reacting.

Two of the teams mentioned were Barnsley and Iceland. There were probably more. I think the owners went for him now because they didn't want to miss the opportunity.

I can't see many who are calling for the owners to go or that he is useless. legs77 says he has taken some incredible stick, but I am not sure where.

Do you realise that you have told everyone that they should get behind the club and the owners. That is exactly what some of us have been doing, but took stick because we were 'pro-Ardley'. We were getting behind the owners when they were backing him. So please don't lecture us on what we should be doing when we have been!

I am supportive of the club and owners which means I was behind NA and now will be IB. Isn't that what supporting the club means?

    - A new coach with no experience of English league football and a poor track record overseas.
    - A team made up of mercenaries with loyalties to their wallets and not the club; win or lose they’ll still get paid and if their contracts are not extended, they’ll find another club.
Assuming that one can’t blame all the other staff members, Covid 19, the weather, the ground, the pitch, the facilities, the pies and the supporters, where else should one look to effect a remedy?
Perhaps the pre-match meals are laced with something which addles the player’s brains, or is it the pre-match instructions which go in one ear and out the other, particularly when players don’t respect their leaders, or their tactics?
Let’s not kid ourselves, vainly hoping that things get better will not solve the problem and the loyal supporters being positive in their outlook will not help either.
The overall situation is bad now and logically needs to be tackled now and not put off until next season as seems to be the master plan.
Fooooookin hell this site is getting ridiculous, absolutely full of sausages. If we want to implement a new style of play under IB which we all do as everyone moaned about how little attacking we did under Ardley then you're going to need players with different skill sets then the ones we have. If you wanted your business to take a new direction then you give current staff chance to retrain but if they can't get it then you probably have to get new staff in with different skill sets to take you where you want to go. Nothing is different in this scenario, he can't make the players suddenly be good at stuff they're not and he isn't able to bring anyone in to change it yet. We've seen him make changes to alter matches, if you listen to his post match interviews he knows exactly what's wrong but can't do much about it at the moment apart from try and train them but as I say most won't be able to change their abilities to suit.

I can't believe the stupidity of people moaning on about the manager when he can do pretty much **** all about it, he's been left with a bad squad who Ardley got playing his defensive, safety first style, they are not going to go to a free flowing expansive style overnight with the same personnel.

    Please engage brains before posting.

Are you really suprised? I'm not at all. Luckily in the real world off here all the Notts fans I've spoken to have said it's dumb to judge him until the start of next season but dumb is what we've got. If we don't hit the ground running next season yeah questions can be asked but now moaning on about him and the owners, **** that get a grip.

And people getting him about signing Griffiths, he might have been the best we got offered at this stage of the season. Its not like he had his pick of all the players he wanted and picked him, he needed someone in ASAP as was left with **** all thanks to Ardley. **** this site for awhile.

But CF the owners weakness has clearly been identified, they give their managers, sorry I mean one past manager too much time.

As nearly all of us know, NCM isn't a fair barometer or accurate representation of the Notts fanbase thankfully. A reminder of this does no harm.

I strongly recommend that most things posted on here should be taken with a pinch of salt, there is (hopefully) a lot of tongue in cheek comments and only a few very devoted individuals who repeatedly take things a little too seriously on here.

As you say it's full sausages who love a moan a little too much

Time and patience aren't currencies used in NCM.

Well, pretty simple question I asked - I think what you meant isn't 'I can't be bothered' but 'I'd rather not answer that question!'

The question was: 'I am supportive of the club and owners which means I was behind NA and now will be IB. Isn't that what supporting the club means?'
