Highlights just how tired. We couldn't even get close. Nothing sticking up top, no runners when we did get flick ons. They had the legs to close and just not let us get anywhere near creating a good chance. It does sound damning and it is but that's why, I think.

Tiredness only a minor factor and an adapted playing style could have compensated for it.

Most of the problems seem to be in midfield battles for the ball. We lose out and off the opposition go on another attack.

What style would have done that? What formation do you know of that means players hardly have to move yet dominate the ball and create glorious opportunities?
