Sorry, but I'm not seeing any poster saying MM is a "super manager" folk just saying he is doing the best with the hand he has been given.

No need to apologies either for having an opinion, that is the whole point of posting on any forum.

In saying that, reading your last few posts, I think we can safely say that your opinion of MM is not very high at all.

He has his faults , like any manager, and I'm not over the moon with some of his tactics and selections , but.... SPL next season and quarter finals this one, not too shabby at all for his first go.

In my opinion we’ll struggle next season with him in charge.
I hope I’m wrong but his team selections, tactics and after match interviews leave me having doubts.
And I don’t think I’m the only poster who he doesn’t impress.
We’re all entitled to say what we think.
Hopefully the Mellon fans are correct.

I think we'll struggle with these players. I will leave my judgement on the manager until he gets some money and the chance to put his own team together.

Abody,s a manager no a days.IF social media was around in early 1970,s.jim would have been hounded out.I was dissapointed when robbie jumpted ship.I am not convinced about Mellon.But he was delt a sh..e hand.He has never walked out at tannadice with a crowd there.Must be soul destroying.

Always forget how tough cup games are. We weren't absolutely awful tonight, regardless how much the Beeb tried to sensationalise it. We just weren't good. Forfar did really well in fairness to them.

Regardless next round is a quarter final and a huge opportunity with nothing to fear.

Biggest worry for me is that that may be the last we see of Benji in a United jersey. Would be a sad way to end if it is

Not just me then? The Beeb were desperate for a shock result tonight. I think GB touched on that earlier regarding why the match was being covered live.

Hopefully the last we see of Benji is lifting the Scottish Cup with his unbroken hand Dreaming I know, but, my dreams have came true before... (more than once)
