I’ve always said we haven’t got the best budget, probably 3rd or 4th, regardless of what people thought of Ardley we were around 3rd challenging 2nd on PPG and now look where we are, totally wrong time to make the change and probably the wrong man, no one interviewed and on who’s recommendation was it?

I'm guessing IB has been told not to worry about promotion this season and use the games to look at players judging by the team selection!!

Correct. All players have limitations and IB obviously decided it needed 5 defenders and the worst 2 centre midfielders at the club to start.
IB selected a side that we all knew would struggle to create. I wonder what the owners are thinking about his team selections and his unwillingness to utilise players that were recruited using their system.

They all sat there on zoom professing their love for attacking football. I now know for sure that's like any newly-elected PM saying they'll govern for all and then do nothing of the sort. It's just empty words and telling fans what they want to hear.

In general IB says he was happy with that performances. A couple of sloppy moments. Apparently we want to be perfect and score the perfect goal. Sam and Rodrigues not doing well enough in training. We have plenty of games left.

I just listened to that. Up to this interview I've had that feeling we're watching the same game - not this time. He felt we dominated the game and created plenty of chances. We didn't. We were poor and played with no intensity and no attacking intent, at a far too pedestrian pace. Today could have been any of this season's games as it bore all the hallmarks.

My view is that this run of results has been on the cards since January and unfortunately the new man hasn't been able to have any impact and stop the rot. He has my backing in general, but have to say today's post match interview did not give me any confidence.

Thank god we've already gone past the 50pt mark otherwise i'd be very worried. We look exactly like a relegation team. Poor all over the pitch, failure to do basics, fragile mentally etc.
