Massive backlash across Europe, can't see it happening now.

One good thing that could come from these six clubs leaving the premier league is that it would be a more level playing field regarding finance. But what would Sean be able to say in his post match interviews if he can't bang on about the how much more their team and bench cost than ours, although it probably won't mask e difference to us we will still be the paupers.
14 PL clubs due to meet today. Were the 6 “traitors” invited or have they decided to keep their own counsel? Would love to know what is on the agenda!
Unfortunately this is simply a reflection of modern western society. The tiny few rich get richer and the millions of poor people get poorer. These clubs are owned by people who have zero interest in the respective communities apart from their tiny contributions to some local charities which have to be factored in to create the false image that they actually care.
The players, managers and coaching staff have no connection whatsoever to the local community. They are all mercenaries who are paid frankly disgusting inflated wages to kick a ball around.
The owners are members of the absolute elite club who are the hidden hand. They are made up of around 9000 people from approximately 140 banking dynasties who control 99.9% of the worlds wealth and together with it the policies put forward by supposedly independent organisations. They are so used to getting what they want and the uproar will have also been factored in and considered a price worth paying for a few shekels more.
The only way these people will be stopped and the only language they understand is if they lose money and their share prices fall. The opposite has happened so far in the wake of this announcement so they will be happy.
The sanctions need to be of a monetary kind-in fact so much so that it would be prohibitive to go ahead with the ESL.
Any media company that buys the rights to the broadcasting should be made to pay 50% income tax on the revenue which goes directly to the respective footballing pyramids in the countries affected by the move. The clubs should then be given transfer embargo in or out until they also agree to pay a tax to their respective footballing pyramids.
Measures such as this will be the only way to stop it.
As far as I understand it Outwood, they were not invited. Be interesting to see what the PL think they can do, Sky and BtSport are signed up for PL matches, and the big 6 ones are the most important to them, in which case it's hard to see how they can kick them out of the PL at this stage without losing loadsa TV money, so what can they do ?
What happened to the notion of, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it".![]()
Easy one that BT. The notion got broken.
The grubby mitts of JP Morgan, Woodward and the Glazers are all over this ESL concept. All 6 clubs though are co-signatories and equally guilty. The only way to stop this is to make it so financially painful for the”traitor 6” and their backers that they will desist. That unfortunately is easier said than done.
