Score and scorers predictions vs. Eastleigh 27.04.21 [NL]

Hoping for a repeat of the first 70+ minutes and not the last 20+. If so...

    Spitfires 1 - 4 Magpies

    Wootton x3, Knight

One place below us in the table, same number of points but played 2 more games and have won their last 2. Won't be an easy game then.

    Spit the Dog 1 - 5 Notts

    Wooters 2 Knight 2 og 1.

If we start on the front foot, like we did yesterday, and can play with the same level of intent, I am confident of a win, so going for 2-0.

If we revert to a more typical performance, I'm going for a 2-0 defeat.

    I'm ruling out a draw!

Eastleigh win 2-0, goal 30 seconds before end of first half and second third minute of three added extra time minutes. Notts show again that they couldn't even defend their own honour.

2-1 to Notts, goals from Reeves and Ellis (if fit). Another nervy finish, but we hang on for three crucial points.

Optimism and pessimism are meeting equally here:

    Eastleigh 1-1 Notts (Skeggy donkey)

Tricky game this one. They’ve beaten us very recently and may well adopt the same tactics. Hopefully, we will play with the same attacking intent as Saturday, but I fear we may need an Enzio or a Rodrigues to unlock their defence.
2-1 to Notts. Wootton & Knowles
