Sectarianism is simply hatred or prejudice against another section of society. I would suggest calling Celtic fans 'the filth' is exactly that.

We won a run O the FN mill league match twice v the Funsters and the whole FN board from top to bottom had threads on them games with not one removed or merged.

After years and years of doing nothing after relegation we produce our best performance in the Cup for
ages but only one thread is allowed to salute it.

    According to the Scottish government:

"In broad terms, sectarianism in Scotland is understood as behaviour which is characterised by historical intra-Christian conflict between Catholics and Protestants (the majority being Church of Scotland - by far the largest Christian group in Scotland)."

So, a religious element involved, as opposed to just plain old abuse.

I'm not too sure what you are getting so excited about to be honest. We've had a policy for an age on here that threads with the same subject get merged. I didn't do this by the way but can't really see the issue, sorry.

According to Wikipedia - 'Sectarianism is a form of prejudice, discrimination, or hatred arising from attaching relations of inferiority and superiority to differences between subdivisions within a group. Common examples are denominations of a religion, ethnic identity, class, or region for citizens of a state and factions of a political movement. '

So not necessarily a religious element involved...

Oh I know you didn't do it...

Yeah but we are specifically talking about Scotland here where religion is what is at the heart of it, even by the Scottish government's definition. If not this, where do we draw the line? Giving the sheepie or fun fans it tight can be classed as sectarian?

I appreciate it mate but when you're in a scenario where moderators on a United board would rather stand up for a sectarian Sevco fan and then move our perfectly innocent threads we're never going to win. Thanks though 👍

Boyle won't be out. All bookings are wiped for the semi final stage. If he was out then Butcher would also be out and Hoban wouldn't have played yesterday. The way it's structured this season means you pretty much need a red card to get a ban

I need to say it; the moderators of this board will NOT tolerate sectarian abuse. If anyone does do that they'll be banned, simple as that. I really don't know why you are persisting with saying the opposite; it's just not true.
