    He was goalkeeper Reds when I started watching them as a kid. Always did his best and I remember him saving a penalty that won or drew us the game. I remember going home after that game pleased as punch with him.

    Cheers, funny wat you remember init i can still hear commentator i think it wa when we played hammers and licked em 5.2 one of there players (just ran straight into gwen thomas there)bounced straight off thomas i remember when he got injured everybody knew there was summat up when he didnt get up straight away.

    Gwyn thomas always played with his socks round his ankles in my memory.

    He did mate and he scored a reight goal into top corner and i remember being gutted when i saw replay on calendar cos he toe end blasted it.

    Hassel, joyce,thomas, foster, eden they all seemed to play for us for ages in my memory.whos players who've had a testimonial anybody no i think redders had done 9yrs with us before he left doubt anybody will ever do 10yrs with us again.testimonials were a fantastic thankyou when you think about it.

    Those days have gone Rascal , lucky to get 10 months out of players today .

    Other than a young player having to retire early through injury I think we've seen the last of testimonials .

    I think the last one I went to was Gary Fleming's in 1997 against Manchester City .

    I forgot all about fleming,some players really have been settled with us, hammill realized where he'd been loved i think he'd make a good agent adam because he'd look at the player being happy first and lets be honest its about playin.out of all players in world theres not that many can have both.
