Agree with the comments RE dropping a centre back. 5-3-2 was worth a go when it was tried and we were going more direct with Effiong up front, but it's making very little sense now. In fact I'm not sure why we're not just going all out attack to try and score goals with as many attacking players on the pitch as possible.

It's not like it could be any worse than the depressing procession of passing it around at the back, passing it around in midfield, waiting for a attacking movement that never happens while the other team just wait for their opportunity to score from a set piece or a defensive error.

Our passing in the final third has not been great. I just don't think we have the energy to play two games a week consistently. We've gone back to how we were before the Torquay game.

Our football is all safe manufactured play and passing. Not one player stands out they all do the same thing.

If Notts were a bag of crisps we would be Ready Salted flavour. The most safest, boring and plain tasting of all the flavours.

I'd honestly only keep Rawlinson, Wootton and Lacey. But I'm even losing faith in them too. The worst squad in our history and that is saying something.

We thought we had it bad with Gary Silk and Co under Thompson. That team would batter this bunch of jokers.
