Just when you think this club can’t get any worse, they always manage to find a notch lower.
Well done Notts.
Sad thing is that all these comments could describe probably 90 percent of our games this season.
If this team played the team that got us relegated two years ago, who would win?
It was very much Ardley like performance in all departments. In fairness to IB he needed the players onside early on because play-offs and promotion were still very much a possibility and he was finding his feet - they still are, and he still does. As it looks like both are slipping away (although it would be typical Notts to win the last five) and as he got us playing well against Torquay and Eastleigh we saw glimpses of what he want's from his team. So it was effectively one step forward to take two steps backwards today. That's going to be frustrating and annoying for any manager.
Therefore as more games pass with disappointing results and performances below standard he can tell it how it is because there becomes less to lose and he's probably starting to make his mind up about a lot of these players.
Too many players that are too old, and too many that are not good enough to play for this club that can only play one good game in six or seven.
Hmmph. That went well!
Still we're only two points off the play-off places, with game(s) in hand. The fat lady may not be singing just yet but her taxi has just pulled up outside. This season is soooooooooooooo Notts. Mind you, that means anything can happen so hopefully a miracle.
I'm off to find my crack pipe. Fingers crossed Hartlepool can do some damage on Cheaterfield's GD column which might be important come judgement day.

It's the 'curse of the magpies', I tells ya, we suck the life out of anyone foolish enough to get involved with us.

Absolutely Swale. I'm not giving up on us reaching the play-offs until such time comes that it is mathematically impossible and a lot can happen in seven games but I'm not naïve to the task in hand as I've seen 34 of our 35 league games on the streams.
I don't think who the manager is matters anymore. It requires players that cross the line to have the quality but also to want it. Right now after 35 games there have been too many games where have appeared to not have those qualities and today was a perfect example.
