I would question Woods judgement re coming off his line.

Despite some of the positives I think he has looked suspect at goals conceded including today.

The only defensive player who was suspect at the goal lost against Livingston was Considine. Again he had absolutely no awareness of where the biggest player on the pitch was.

On another note...good you have found your log in details

Well that was a pleasant surprise of a result - though it just compounds the frustration and anger at last weeks spineless shiitshow.

Didn’t see the first half but at least in the second we looked like we actually had an attacking threat.

Great cross for the first goal - amazing what quality delivery into the box does.

Nice break for the second too and a quality cutback fae Kamberi and a lovely finish fae Hedges.

He’s been a massive miss. What a difference he made when he came on though tbf he was badly at fault for their goal - just keep the ball or play it out for a throw min.

Need to try and extend him. Painful as it is i’d still sell if he won’t - but pairing him and Watkins next year would go a long way to helping Glass play the style he wants.

Very poor on the left side again for their goal - Considine in no man’s land and yet again no LB anywhere to be seen.

I know he’s young and learning, but the boy Mackenzie has been badly at fault or posted missing for at least 3 or 4 goals so far. He needs to learn fast if he’s going to secure a regular spot. All well and good promoting youngsters - but they have to be good enough.

Hendry did well again. Not what we need in a regular starter if we’re serious about challenging - but could be a useful squad member if he keeps this up.

Same with Woods, been impressed with how he’s come in and played. Distribution from the deck is way better than Lewis for a start - will be good to have Joe under a bit of pressure for his position.

We’ve got 4th - how bad is this league ffs - but let’s hope results like today don’t pull the wool over Glass’ eyes about this mob.

That joot game should be played on a loop in his office until most of these imposters are gone...

Amazing that we’ve went about 2-3 months without scoring a goal and somehow still manage 4th (and possibly even 3rd). We were terrible even prior to that spell too. Rangers have had the league handed to them this season - they have been good but everyone else has been shockingly poor.

You’re right though, I hope one or two semi decent performances don’t skew Glass’ thinking about these players. Hedges, Ferguson and McCrorie are the only players we have worth keeping.

I would offer Woods a deal also. I really would try and edge the big earner Joe Lewis out the door. Hopefully getting some sort of transfer fee for him. We need big changes at Aberdeen and we need the McInnes mentality to be pushed out the door. Andrew Considine would be another. If we are to improve we must have a better type of player for the big matches. They generally don’t cut the mustard and have failed far too often for very experienced players. We mustn’t let these type of players influence our younger lads or they will never amount to much.

You've really got it in for Joe! I'd agree with you that he should never have been made captain and that he's not been as good this season but there's been a number of games during our Aberdeen nil period when he pulled off crucial saves. As for Woods last week against DU last week he was stuck on his line for the first goal giving McNulty a huge target to aim at and for the second he came and then retreated giving McNulty an easier option. Lewis, I feel, would have anticipated Consi and Hoban being caught out and been off his line far quicker...might not have made a difference, of course.

What I gather is that Lewis is on a substantial wage...top earner. Nothing at all against him but he should have been dropped (admittedly by The Anchor Man) when he was a liability during the season. Woods in my opinion looks more confident. He seems far better with the ball at his feet and I reckon that will be what Glass is at least expecting from our goalkeeper next season.
I personally would move him and Considine on simply for the reason they have had enough chances and generally fail in the bigger matches. We need a new mentality at the club and these two getting moved on would send a signal out that nobody is safe.

I would agree with moving on both Lewis and Considine as they must be on decent salaries but only if improvements were brought in first. Considine should be easier to replace than Lewis. Woods just doesn't look like an upgrade to me but is perfectly adequate as back up.

Glass is really up against it though with improvements required all over the pitch. I just hope a playing wage hasn't already been wasted on Brown.

I’m afraid that ship has sailed and not only a playing wage on a washed up has been but a coaching wage on a never has been. And he’s a c unt.

I think Brown was signed to get the winning mentality into others around him.
If he can do that ,then his wage is justified .
We just ain't got any winners or leaders in our squad .
Off the park ,by all accounts Brown is good guy, does a lot of work for good causes .. Griffiths on other hand ...
Previous management and coaching team insisted we were doing great , we really needed a drastic change of direction and mindset.
The signings that follow are important .That will be when we see how serious Cormack really is .
