Thing is. I never was much of a sinner, not that I can remember. Bit of a tw@t, yeah, sinner, no............
Supporting Notts is definitely a Comedy, not sure it’s Divine.

Got to be some sort of punch up. Or maybe we’re only saying that cos he’s Scottish...

He's doing another show on Wednesday night with Curitis and Stallard, which could be very interesting. Nobody knows anything at the moment and Les won't want to rock any boats.

Mace did say tonight that if Ross had stayed on, there would have been some very frank discussions about recruitment over the summer.

Ross has released a statement - can boil down to ‘said something completely unacceptable to one of our own players during the match on Saturday’. Sounds like his position was basically untenable.

Sacked because of an ill judged comment?

My guess is that whatever the cause(s) of Ross leaving...it is bound to include disagreements with Burchnall on the way forward IMO. They're desperate, their jobs are on the line, the situation is fraught with make or break games coming every 3 or 4 days. It's hard to imagine there would be a consensus on who to pick, which players give us a chance of getting back in the play-off mix, what tactics to employ. And I can't see comments such as 'he's a man' 'we need animals' being particularly useful anyway.
So, yeah there could be something dramatic, Burchnall himself could be in trouble himself, but I think footballing/personnel disagreements will be there too

Don't know if it's been mentioned before, but he has been in trouble in the past!

Stephen Robinson says Motherwell have dealt ‘privately’ with recent comments made by Maurice Ross after complaints from the likes of Celtic.

The Fir Park coach left Celtic manager Neil Lennon, St Mirren chief executive Tony Fitzpatrick and Kilmarnock manager Alex Dyer unhappy with comments made on BBC Sportsound on Sunday.

Motherwell coach Ross has sparked outrage from the likes of Celtic.

Robinson has spoke to both Celtic boss Lennon and Buddies manager Jim Goodwin following comments made. Lennon said his Fir Park counterpart had ‘apologised profusely’ for Ross after he questioned areas of Celtic’s recruitment policy amongst other things.

After Motherwell had games against Kilmarnock and St Mirren called off due to Covid-19 problems among both opposing teams, Ross claimed clubs could in theory use the pandemic to get games called off should it suit their circumstances.

Saints chief Fitzpatrick called the comments ‘unhelpful’ whilst Killie boss Dyer stated ‘there’s no need to make headlines.’ Robinson says it’s water under the bridge now.

Robinson has dealt with the Maurice Ross incident.
“I just dealt privately with the matter and any issue that’s been going on this week in any shape or form I have dealt with privately, and that’s the way it will remain,” said Robinson. “I conduct my business in private.

“Any issue I have dealt with and it’s over now and we are concentrating fully on football matches. We haven’t had one for a long time.”

"Ill judged comments" to one of our own players. Must've been really ill-judged to have been sacked...
