So that’s cleared up the speculation about why he was sacked.

Let’s start the speculation about what he said to be sacked and to whom...

He's obviously not a nice bloke. Good to find out this early and get rid.

To be sacked for a single comment, there could POSSIBLY have been Racial Overtones involved?

Do you know Racial, lovely lass.

Did he call all the players useless f**kers who couldn’t win a game if their lives depended on it and the poor dears were a tad upset.

It was during Saturday's match apparently. Would be mad to shout something racist that could be clearly heard by 30 plus people with no crowd in there. Maybe something homophobic like "you big fairy".

You would presume it was racist or homophobic for it to be worthy of getting rid of him straight away but there's not much point guessing about it, just move on now.

Given the nature of Ross' dismissal, it would surely be extremely unlikely that Burchnall is also on the way it

The brief statement from the club made it pretty obvious Ross had either said something offensive or smacked someone. Turns out it was the former, and it wouldn't take a genius to work out the nature of a comment which would result in someone being summarily sacked.

What a c*ck up this season has turned into.
