So to get this straight, he's made a comment to one of the subs during the 2nd half about a player still on the pitch, not heard by anybody else. Sub then told other players after the game what Ross had said to him and some of them (not necessarily including the sub that was spoken to) have then made the complaint. Ross's apology either not accepted or what he said was deemed too offensive to tolerate even if this was his first offence. Right?

Let's hope this story doesn't go national.

That narrows it down somewhat. Who was on the bench?

Nice to see that Notts County FC are very much in tune with the #mission.

I will be making no further comment on the above observation.

We don't even know for sure if it's the player on the receiving end of the comment who took offence, For example, he might have called a player out for playing like "an invalid" and another player took offence because they have a disabled relative or something like that.

If it was to be deemed fairly innocuous by common consensus and everybody at Notts has now got to watch what they say, it's not going to make for a happy environment to work in. If it was serious, then all power to the owners for acting swiftly and decisively.

I guess we're all speculating because we're all wondering what kind of club and culture we are now supporting.
Well done, UTM. This is intelligent questioning and reasonable rather than fanciful speculation. A quality post - as most of yours are.

Just shows a completely broken and unhappy dressing room.

Bear in mind the sub may not have been offended by it, He might have just relayed it in the spirit of "Rossy dioesn't hold back in what he thinks, ha ha". He's not necessarily "a snitch" and on the other hand he might have been absolutely justified in calling Ross out.

Is more than likely the right answer. For a lot more reasons than what was said by Mo at that particular incident.

We don't know what was said by Ross but if there's issue in the dressing room or upset at the departure of NA then these sort of things don't get dealt with in house. Not saying it should have been dealt with in house but again points to a Club fighting against itself

Not necessarily, what you have said straightens things out is just speculation. He could have made it to one of the players who had come off, or to one of the players who was still on the pitch. So you haven't got anything straight!

Now we have the subs being blamed - hence the post naming them.

Maybe we haven't got a split dressing room - why do we have to be so down on the players all the time?
