We could play the “guess who” game. I’ll start:

See Hibs have agreed a deal for the forward boy Daniel Mackay from Caley, presumably ending any interest in Griffiths.
Would not be surprised at all if Scott Brown will be influential in getting the thumb to sign on with the dons for next season, could be a superb signing for us.

Why would Hibs signing a young winger have anything to do with them signing Leigh Griffiths?

If he signs for us that would be a fairly decent standard of player that has come into the club with Brown and now Gallagher. Our league rivals will sit up and take notice probably thinking who the hell they getting next?

Gallagher, Brown and Griffiths would give a good experienced, tough, spine to the team. I think there's a risk with Griffiths and who knows what effect another year is going to have on Brown's legs. I reckon we'll need another 3 or 4 players of real quality in addition to them (would be good if one of them was McGrath), and we'd need to hold on to Ferguson and Hedges.

    Lewis
    RB McCrorie Gallagher LB
    Brown
    Hedges Ferguson McGrath Hayes
    Griffiths

I'd be happy enough to see Lewis offloaded if we can get another keeper in. I don't think Ramsay or MacKenzie are good enough to be starting if we're serious about winning things. I think they can play a part next season though. So I think we need a couple of full backs (Glass was suggesting Hernandez might come back which was unexpected...)

I wouldn't be against us signing the big boy JET from Livi as a different type of option up front. He's an absolute monster of a man, but has mega technique to go with it.

He’d have been a typical McInnes signing and we’d have been stuck with him on a 3 year deal off the back of one good performance against us.

We have to move on from that mind set that McInnes instilled if we want to improve and win silverware again.

Griffiths or JET......hmm let me think about that one .
