Anyone who watched the game last night saw Brinds and Chiksen done in the air over abd over. We got away with it last night we wont in the play offs. Ellis is leading a charmed life. Two goals conceded on average in every game he has played in, that is the reality of the situation. Can we win the playoffs with that stat....... no of course we cant.

I don’t get the negativity about playing 3 at the back. Most teams play 2 up top with one being a big man, the fact we have 2 players who are mobile enough to pick up the pieces is a massive plus. We could play 3 lumps and get done for pace. That said I fully expect Rawlinson to come back in to the 3 with the apparently lucky Ellis.
We have conceded 17 goals in 14 league games under IB, so if your math thinks that’s an average of 2 then something has gone drastically wrong. Nought like facts thought.

There's nothing like rounding the figures up to suit an argument ....

Opinions are always great and welcome on here, but when the facts used to back them up and entirely inaccurate then they are not worth a lot. I don't know if we can win the play offs but I know that there is not a cat in hells chance Ardley would have managed third this season and I also know that I along with most of the posters on this board with the benefit of hindsight ( which in this case is very beneficial) would prefer IB leading us into the playoffs with a strong attacking in form team than Neal "1-0" Ardley hoping to scrape home with tippy tappy nonesense football when he has actually recruited fairly well. Anyway COME ON YOU PIES!

Please feel free to add it all up. If you want to include a one off cup game it’s 20 goals against us in 15 games under IB. The FACT still remains its under the 2 per game quoted. And comfortably. Why would I round up 1.25 goals v us up to 2? We would have needed to have conceded another 10 goals for it to average 2 goals a game.

AND if you want to look at the WHOLE league season we can conceded 40 goals in 40 games. Even you nor Ozzie bloke can’t argue that’s 2 per game.
Again don’t let facts get in the way.

Looks like IB's going to ride the 3-5-2 all the way now... with teams like Bromley and Wrexham still lurking around, the personnel for that back 3 is going to be very interesting

The key will be getting Rawlinson back. Let's pray it's not a niggling injury that turns into a long-term lay-off like Lacey's.
As positive as it looks from the mobility/ball-playing angle, it might be a bit late in the day to be attempting another position conversion, this time with Brindley. That role in the 3 comes with much greater defensive responsibilities. So far so good with Chicksen, but these guys have to ready for more Wrexham-type situations and relish all that crucial defending in central areas.

With it being 3-5-2 I don't think Turner will get much of a look in unless we need a replacement for Ellis. Even then...
And great as it is to see McCrory back I don't want to see a repeat of last season with players returning from injury trying to build match fitness/sharpness in play-off games (finals even!)
Rawlo's fitness is very important for us...

    Wtf are you on about...
It was kelton who rounded it up to two...not you.
So I've no idea why you are being all defensive about my little quote.i was pointing out HE has rounded it up to suit his argument and QP was agreeing.
Not even close to having a pop at your figures as you were proving it was below the 2 mark.
Take a deep breath relax and I will accept your apology I hope QP will to, even if he is an Ozzie.
