Seems some would welcome Ardley and some would be horrifed by the appt, only on BFC ay? To his credit he would prob keep them in the division and build a team to challenge for promo. Trouble is it would take @ 10 seasons.

Interview question: How would you handle going into the last match of the season needing to win to stay in the league?
    Answer: Respect the point

Interviewer: Finally any questions Mr Ardley?

Mr Ardley: Yes just two. I want to check you aren't planning on having 3 managers next season, and you have absolutely no plans of not paying staff on time and trying to sell the club due to severe financial difficulties?

    Not sorry

    I'm certain it would.

London - Nottingham 125 miles (ish)
London - Barrow 290 miles (ish)

Would he want to move the family? A long way for such an uncertain profession.

People look at so called facts differently to others, that is why managers like Sherridan who have failed in recent years still get appointed.

Facts can't be changed - but they need to be looked at in context.

I did predict he would go to a club higher than Notts, though hopefully I’m wrong at the end of the season. Surprised he’s willing to go that far North, but wish him all the best if he does.
