I still struggle to come to terms with an apparently deadly virus, for which you have to take a test to know you've got it.

Subs example explains it....a complete disregard of rational evidence, utter delusion.

it's easy done, when people have been mentally mechanised into artificiallity, where fantasy Is the new reality - they only need experience an Effect...and when fear is the prime mover, laid on thick...reason goes out the window, until folk defend the fabrication as a certitude - because they're living the reaction, right ?.....Then to seal it, comes the solution, yes there'll be demands, limitiations...but with a pat on the back and a dangled Reward, that'll also go unquestioned.
Et Voila....you've shaped an event, and re-designed reality, from nothing.
