Only someone who claims that freak results often happen on opening day! Luckily, due to subsequent events we dodged a bullet.
True it was a very poor result, but just a single result, one game. Whereas as I confidently predicted Dover would have a poor start to the season (I suggested 10 games was a fair description of "start") and look was happened.....rock bottom.

Obviously when Notts had a disrupted pre-season the previous year which put us weeks behind the other teams in terms of preparation and player recruitment after the late sale of the club by Mr Hardy. That never had an impact to slow start to the season in our maiden season at this level.

    Just an Ardley excuse lol

Not that any of this matters it's old news, it's been fully discussed, Ardley was sacked.

It's all about the future, it's all about the Burchnall Bandwagon

My apologies, I must be confusing you with another poster. It's just that for a year or more that other poster openly ridiculed anyone who suggested that Ardley wasn't the answer, and even gave some of them silly nicknames. Then when it dawned on him what some of us realised very early, he rapidly changed direction and found a new hero.

    It must be my age.

In which case, nothing is exactly what he gave us that season.

    Thanks for nothing Neal.

It's been called a toxic circus, it was ran by a clown. Not really fair to any of the 3 managers that season, who all struggled. Again that's a fact, their managerial records show it that season.

    Agree.

Especially the record of the manager who had far more games than the other two.

Apology accepted, but I can't help I don't know who you are referring to. I openly ridiculed and mocked the ridiculous OTT comments against the manager, never that Ardley was or wasn't the answer.

If you remember who you are talking let me know.

You really must let the nicknames thing go Elite. Nobody in NCM got so wound up and upset by them as you lol.

Thankfully for everyone this is old news, been done to death. We've moved on, people have changed, NCM has improved. Oh and the Burchnall Bandwagon set off on its journey

Tbf Elite he’s not the first good or bad manager that has overseen a Notts relegation, it just happens it was one into non league. Our issue has been poor ownership, a long list of chancers taking us over promising us the promise land. I get u don’t like/rate him, I did like him, I do believe he gave a sh1t about our club and took it to his heart, maybe his career will pitter away but personally I believe there’s a very good manager in there and I wish him well.

When I post it once you sometimes miss it and often not understand. I thought I'd try twice to see if that helps, so maybe it still is . Only kidding of course

We really don't need to start up these back n forths , nobody else wants them as CamPie rightly and quickly illustrated especially when talking about 'old news' such as Ardley, Hardy and past seasons. Pointless.

Matt's right as we all know we've had more relegations that any other club (or do Grimsby best us to that unwanted honour?). In fact we've been close to falling though the trapdoor to NL before Hardy/Ardley arrived.

We knocked once too many times at the door sadly.

It's all about the future, exciting positive times.
