I am not anti Ardley as such, I was pro Ardley for some time but I gave up with him this season. He had long enough and ultimately had about 3 squads and could not get the required level of performance and results so he got sacked. That's all there is to it and that's football!
I never hated NA but he never convinced me he was the right man to manage a Club Notts.

NA will be more comfortable and suited to managing an underdog team with low expectations and he'll probably do quite well.

He just doesn't have the swagger and confidence to manage a Club that expects to be winning.

I know what you mean, but clearly we haven’t took that route this time. I’ve always wondered if I could stomach having Evans as manager, not sure I could :-(

Nor did our last 20 or so managers! Best of luck to the fella.

Steve Evans is the one and only manager I wouldn't go and watch Notts if he was in charge. Disgusting individual on almost every level.

I see you and the other pro Ardley supporters are at it again, you just cant stop singing Ardley,s praises can you ?

Thankfully Ardley has gone, all be it over 2 years to late

Ardley was the worst manager ever, his starting record of 1 win from 12 was worse than fullartons, let that sink in for a minute, and also the key match against macclesfield at home that Ardley blew, nothing to do with the chairman that game, or all the other excuses you bring to defend Ardley, as Macclesfield had even worse problems

All this nonsense about how we had a poor start to last season due to off field events , tosh as most of the team remained from the relegation season
It was Ardley negative and defensive tactics that got us no where, not only that he was heavily backed by both chairman, and rarely won a key match

    good Riddance

    Evening Davey
didn't you know the chooo choooo has a self designated driver that is and Ardley fan , he also states that Ardley shouldn't have been sacked and given to the end of the season.
Even when we were having our poor start under IB, the self designated train driver although backing IB did throw in that he still thought Ardley should have been given to the job to the end of the season.
Given those facts I don't understand for one minute how the self appointed driver has the nerve to Blow his choo choo whistle proclaiming unity when he still believes Ardley should be the manager.
chooooo choooooo chooooo says Thomas ...................

    PS great performance today

Can't see this happening, unless his family are sick of London and want to move to the lake district. Can't see him living up in Barrow to be honest. Its depressing ar the best of times.
London club, South Midlands or Home Counties club would suit him best.
