As for fannybaws replacement, better get my Tangerine and Black Union Jack oot, just in case 😉
The only person who's ever said anything about the managers future has been the manager and it was that he was happy here and would be here until told otherwise. What makes you think he's the one who's jacked it? Like I said two days ago, the silence from the club has been deafening!!

Yeah was meaning about Asghars lad and the speculation about Hughes. The thread title says Mellon out Hughes in, who says Hughes is in.

I for one will be gutted if Mellon goes and if he does then I hope he gets a chance to make a statement and isn't silenced. I am honestly am at a loss for words.
This for me. One point from top six, easily avoided relegation spots, semi final os Scottish cup, only team in league not to strengthen at last window. And all this done with 99.9% of last seasons squad. Honestly don’t know what some fans expected.

I don’t think this is mellon choice. Seems he was pushed out rather than wanting to jump ship.

After st mirren match he was clear he wanted to stay and had moved his family up

If we end up being one of these teams who hires and fires willy nilly, there's only one place we're going I'm afraid.
Totally agree. Absolutely disgusted with the club tonight.

They've got their wish though. Another pre-season of uncertainty. Probably no new signings for a while until we have a new man in place. Saying that, big Tony might bring in a few boys and hand out a couple of extensions while we wait.

Shame if Mellon is away, but hopefully that idiot John Hughes stays as far away as possible from United

That being said If he's looking to force his son in to a coaching job unmerited that is a poor show. The fans deserve some clarity on the whole situation either way. Hughes isn't a bad manager either tbh, wouldn't be my 1st choice but it wouldnt bother me seeing him named as manager.
Agree if we're getting results and playing decent football then I'm sure we'll all be saying what a great decision that was. Maybe Ashgar's son will be the new Cathro. Time will tell.
Seeing what's happening at Rugby Park so far maybe Tommy Wright is working his ticket oot of there.🙄
