To be fair, he knew the deal before he came in, just like the new manager will.

Aye the Special One! I suppose all fans are fickle but some of the stuff I see posted from (some of) our fans is weird at times.

Would be great to be a fly on the wall. TA choosing our players over and above a seasoned football manager....

I think the problem with Mcinnes is he done what was expected of him in league without Rangers, a poor hearts and hibs side for many years too. Massive budget compared to all other teams and had the pick of the best of the rest in the SPL. Even then he only won 1 trophy in his time there which really should have been more considering the circumstances.

It may have something to do with the McInnes out thread on Sheep Mad that ran for years and about 600 pages if memory serves me right.

New manager wants to sign players but can't because the sporting director has just handed out 2 year extensions to the Connollys & Harkes of this world. I can see this model working well and potential candidates jumping at the chance to work with it.

To be honest, I don't think its as cut and dried as that. If it is, then we are the only club with a Sporting Director/Director of Football that works like that.

Fans are equally to blame. Embarrassing moaning on Twitter at every opportunity. Campaigning to get rid of a guy who had us comfortably reestablished in the Premier league.

On a good news day re: season ticket sales this is nonsense. We have a stable squad to build on. For once we were in a good close season position. Look at Motherwell releasing 23 players today, that should show us where we comparatively are against clubs rebuilding their entire squads. Instead we are forced to waste pre season time in yet another manager hunt. What a waste of a great opportunity to build on our success

I will not be happy if it is "Yogi" Hughes. Cant imagine any of the other 4000+ season ticket renewals will be happy either.
Who was campaigning to get rid of Mellon.
Certainly saw many posts from guys who wanted him gone but hardly a campaign.
Are they not allowed to have an opinion that you don't like.
