Highly unreliable source with no inside knowledge or understanding of football has said Tam isnt going to be our manager.

If there hadn't been this fan backlash, Courts would've been announced by now. I'm sure of it. However I think I you may end up correct.

They were, but when they took over we at least had an experienced manager in place to steady the ship & strike the balance. Now it seems they are happy to put the best interests of our football club to one side to push through with their pie in the sky money making plans.

Chances are if they put the youth team coach in charge and TA really runs the playing side fills the team with young guys that are not ready for the top league players will look crap and not attract big offers we will get relegated again and Ogren will have to pump more money into the club to keep it afloat does not sound like a good business plan but these people know more about running business;s than me.

wonder if thats what is happening? really it was someone in football who said this to me but i have no idea if true.

He also may not get sanctioned to be head coach (not manager title as i previously said) due to a lack of accreditation. I recall that FIFA brought these in to stop interfering owners and chairmen from putting young unqualified coaches in charge of team as they were clearly being told what to do. I dont think he is going to be our head coach - jt assistant maybe

I really hope we don't go down this route. Don't get me wrong, If he does get the job then I will support him like many others however I feel it is a massive risk to appoint a rookie with little professional experience. By all accounts he is well respected and liked within Tannadice but this is too far left field which could set us back if it goes wrong. If this was the way we had planned then he should have been put on the coaching staff under Neilson or Mellon to gain that experience of coaching with the first team with the view of becoming manager 2/3 years down the line rather than the way it seems now. Thrown into it out of nowhere.

For me McInnes is the man. Safe pair of hands and can help push us on to the level we want to get to. His track record is very good. He will have a point to prove to the Cormack boy at Aberdeen for the way he left there. He knows the club and the league so its a no brainer for me. We should be looking for someone like McInnes or Robinson. Managers who have a track record of getting teams into the top six. A show of ambition from the club is needed to suggest we are fancying top six next season. Going for Courts only suggests one thing.....we are skint.

I'm hoping this is Ashgar leaking stories to the press to "test the water" He seemed to do that last year with MacKay and McClaren then ended up with Mellon. So hopefully this is all smoke screen to the unveil McInnes or someone like him as manager

This for me, would make sense for Courts to have been close to the first team for continuity sakes.

This is the problem for TA. Because of these rumours, people have decided he is trying to kill the club and want him out. He is done for some. Baffles me tbh... but its true.

doesnt look or sound good though does it, was on here and social media weeks ago that there was a fall out with MM & TA in regards to his young lad being a first team coach then MM leaves and 'leaks' from club show a complete rookie as the no.1 contender

see if he is that highly thought of get him in as a 1st team coach or jt assistant but dinnae p1ss off the faithful with risks like that at this stage.
