I never thought MM looked comfortable at United. Dnt get me wrong he kept us up and for that deserved the plaudits. But his post match interviews were generic and scripted or shld I say he appeared to used the same script. I wanted him to stay for another season and I have no doubts that behind the season something pissed him off. Now The board or probably big Tony has to get the next appointment right, and for me Tam isn’t the answer. It’s going to be a tough prem next season with 3 local derbies, Malky at county, where he has already booted out a number of players and will be looking to strengthen. Can only hope we get this right.

Would say more than hope really they need to get this right or we will be in big trouble with the teams in the league this season . We get this wrong I dread to think what will happen and think MO should be over here getting his club sorted out

MM done a decent enough job, it was the current guys in charge who hired him, it wasn't a bad appointment, I hadn't heard of him before last summer

Yeah MM did fine as you say came out of left field never heard of him either kept us up and a wee run in cup beating sheep really best bit of that. Will be interesting to see if whoever gets the job can get these players playing a more attractive game and get shankland back on the goal trail also would be good if some off the young guys got a chance in first team bit more without going mad and filling team with kids just to sell them as some are hinting at happening.

I think Mellon did great. I liked to hear him shouting and encouraging the players during matches.

It was a shame he never got to experience the tannadice crowd singing his name
